Mazandaran Water & wastewater Company was established as private Joint stock on 5 Mar 1991 and was incorporated under No.1311 on 20 April 1992 in companies’ registration office and industrial property of Sari, Mazandaran province.


The main activities of Company are according to article 2 of association


Article 2: subject & purpose of Company:  Branch and urban water distribution and installation related to collection, transfer and treatment of wastewater, also operating of supply installation, division, urban water distribution and installation related to collection, transfer and wastewater treatment are under responsibility of this company are as follows:


A: Operation of related installation to supply and distribution of urban water after absorption such as treatment plant, pump station, transmission lines, well sources, control systems and distribution networks.


B: Operation of wastewater transfer & collection networks, treatment plant from related pump stations


C: Implementation of urban water distribution networks


D: Implementing the projects of collection, transfer and wastewater treatment


E: Implementing the projects of water supply and transfer according to Note (3), article (1) above law.


F: Investment and cooperation in firms regarding company’s objects for qualitative & Quantitative improvement of company’s activities.


G: Implementation of research, education affairs because of goals of company and coordination with planning of NWWEC.


H: establishing the new firms according to Note (2), Article (1) above law
